Grad student Justin Nagle wins Energy Innovation Grant

Justin Nagle, a Masters in Applied Science student in Geology, has won this year’s $10,000 Energy Innovation Grant from the province of Nova Scotia.

Justin is creating a 4D digital model of the Shelburne Delta, an area of offshore Nova Scotia, as part of a six-month internship at Beicip-Franlab, a global oil and gas consulting firm based in Paris.

He will return to France next spring to complete his internship and advance the model using leading-edge predictive software. Justin also completed his BSc at Saint Mary’s.
