The Saint Mary's Student Leadership Conference is fast approaching, and faculty and staff are being invited to participate as session facilitators.
On Saturday, February 9th, the Division of Student Affairs & Services at Saint Mary’s University will host this annual campus-wide event, which gives students the opportunity to network and participate in interactive sessions and workshops that are built on practical experiences, leadership theory, and community service.
In addition to receiving a certificate of participation and CCR credit, this one-day workshop aids students to enhance their skills in critical thinking, self-awareness, reflection, and collaboration.
We are seeking leaders from both the university and the wider community to facilitate sessions at this conference. Facilitators can be students, faculty, staff, alumni, or community members or a combination of any of these.
If you are interested in facilitating a 50-minute session, please fill out the Facilitator application form online by January 17, 2019. The form can be found at https://smuss.typeform.com/to/Y2RWwq. We are interested in your proposed session’s description, learning outcomes, and methods for learning.
Please note that your session must be focused on an aspect of leadership development and we encourage you to include an interactive and / or reflective piece.
