For the second year in a row at Science Academic Orientation, Faculty of Science professors led first-year science and engineering students in group discussions related to their research.

The session proved popular, as evidenced by excellent student turn-out. Students and faculty explored various “big ideas”, including “how do we measure the mind?”, “what does math have to do with keeping secrets?”, and “can cannabis cure?”
