New Smoke-Free Campus and Tobacco Use policy takes effect

Saint Mary’s has adopted a new Smoke-Free Campus and Tobacco Use policy, effective July 1, 2018.

The new policy allows for the burning of sage, cedar, sweetgrass, kinnikinnick and tobacco on campus when part of Indigenous ceremonies and addresses medical and recreational use of cannabis. For the full policy, visit: http://www.smu.ca/webfiles/6-2016_SmokeFreeCampusAndTobaccoUse.pdf
